One great type of green tea to try is Dragon Well Green Tea. This tea originates from the Chinese village of Dragon Well (Lung Ching in local parlance). In fact, production of Dragon Well tea began some 1200 years ago. Dragon Well tea has a distinguished shape with its broad, flat leaves which are the result of laborious drying. However, the hard work and preparation is all worth the effort since Dragon Well tea is refreshingly smooth, sweet and delicate, among the very best of the Chinese green teas. Dragon Well Tea also has a historical significance in American History as it was the tea presented to President Richard Nixon during his famous trip to China.
One highly recommended Dragon Well tea is Mighty Leaf’s Organic Green Dragon tea. This version of the tea envelops the whole palate with a slightly sweet, very refreshing liquid. A classic wok-fired chinese green tea, it has a delicate chestnut like flavor, captivating aroma, and a lovely yellow-green color. This Mighty Leaf Green Dragon tea uses 100% organic whole loose leaf green tea and the 100% biodegradable silken tea pouch gives the tea an excellent infusion into water. If you want to experience a Dragon Well tea then Mighty Leaf is a great choice.

Dragon Well Green Tea is pure and simple and offers the classic flavor of green tea. The four outstanding unique characteristics of Dragon Well tea are its green jade color, its orchid-like smell, the sparrow’s tongue shape of its dried leaves, and its fresh taste and semi-sweet aftertaste. If you’re looking for a great green tea then this tea is really an excellent choice.
