Green tea originates from China and has become associated with and enjoyed daily by many cultures in Asia. Green tea is now beginning to gain more and more popularity worldwide with the most popular and common type being Chinese Green Tea. Various types of Chinese green tea are produced in 7 different provinces in China which include:

• Hubei Province (Yu Lu green tea – a steamed tea known as Gyokuro (Jade Dew) made in the Japanese style.)
  

• Henan Province (Xin Yang Mao Jian green tea – A famous Chinese tea also known as Green Tip, or Tippy Green.)
  

• Jiangxi Province (Gou Gu Nao green tea, Yun Wu green tea or Cloud Mist green tea)
  

• Anhui Province (Da Fang green tea, Huangshan Maofeng green tea, Lu’An Guapian green tea or Melon Seed green tea, Hou Kui green tea or Monkey tea, Tun Lu green tea, Huo Qing green tea or Fire Green tea)
